Adobe Flash/Windows 10

Windows 1o will not recognize that I have Flash installed when I try to use it. It's in the 'apps' screen, but it won't let me use it as a default. I use it to watch aircraft maintenance (EAA.org) and photography education videos B&Hphoto). Everything worked fine until I upgraded...as far as I'm concerned Win 10 [watch it]! How do I revert to Win 8 or 7???

I use Firefox

did you install the correct version of flash? they have different one for IE and Firefox.
Use Firefox to download the Firefox version.

I just checked on Adobe for Flash and it recognizes that I have Firefox, So I assume that when I chose download earlier today that's what I got. I have never had this problem with any other versions of Windows. I just guess I keep hoping that whenever I download a new version the problem will go away, but it doesn't. I think Flash is up to v. 21. It's in my files, but W-10 won't let me use it as a choice for video usage.
