Hi,

I recently wanted to edit videos and as you probably understood in the title of the thread, I'm hesitating between two video editing softwares: Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas Pro. I'm new to video editing, but learning doesn't scare me. If you could list the pros and cons of each, that'd be great :)

Thanks

Part of the answer depends on whether or not you want to use a subscription based model for the software. Adobe Premiere CC is a subscription based software package whereas you pay a onetime fee for Vegas Pro. I haven't used the latest version of Vegas Pro so I can't fairly compare the two. Personally, I like and use Premiere Pro CC. I have been using Adobe products for years and have been pleased. In all fairness though I can't say it is better than Vegas Pro because I used an older version for only a short period of time.
