Advise on which speakers to buy

Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy some new speakers, but don't want to spend too much. Like under $50, the less the better. I am looking for 2.0, I don't have any need for a sub woofer and although I like listening to loud music, I don't want the walls shaking from overpowering base. I just want the clearest sound I can get for small price.

Some of the speakers I've been looking at are Logitech X-140 ($30), Altec Lansing VS2620 ($30), Logitech Z320 ($40) and Creative Inspire T10 ($45), etc.

What do you guys recommend among these or others? thanks in advance

the logitech.... 313 model i believe is around $30 with a subwoofer. not the best system ever made but definitely worth the price. the next step up isnt bad as well.

as far as overpowering bass... you do realize that you can turn the knob on the back of the subwoofer down right? you can also change settings in windows control panel. the systems will deliver enough bass when needed but you dont have to shake the walls.
