Here's my situtation : I damaged my previous lenovo y580 (Core i7-3610 , nVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 660m, HD Screen) motherboard by spilling water into it. I ordered the same motherboard (at least I guess they were the same since both were LA-8002P) and installed it. Since then I have been able to install windows 7 and everything gets installed except for Intel HD 4000 driver and NVIDIA Driver which depends on Intel HD driver being installed. Whenever I install Intel HD 4000 driver, after restarting my laptop the screen either goes blank(with only mouse pointer being visible) and I have to go to safe mode and uninstall Intel HD Graphics. I tried both the driver on lenovo site and intel site, the latest driver on Intel site gave me BSOD and the other drivers resulted in the same blank screen. I also tried Ubuntu, Knoppix both of them were unable to recognize my display adapter, I tried Windows 8 which gave me BSOD.

Thank you, there are two options in bios : switchable graphics, uMa . Both of them result in the same error.
