After replacing backlight on laptop it still not view

after replacing backlight on laptop it still not view .. new backlight and new inverter, see the splash acreen momentarily, then nothing... when you shine a flashlight on LCD, you can see a ghost image. this is an acer aspire 5100.

reseated the LCD cable and inverter connection... got display... thank you
