afterglow gaming headset

so i bought an afterglow headset about 6 months ago it worked fine but now when i plug it in it doesn't charge iv tried plunging in different usb ports it still doesn't charge the drivers are up to date for the dock please help.

ok so i woke up today went down stairs and the afterglow headset was charging i hope this helps people with this problem i had the headset plugged in for about 12 hours and now its charging.
