For me it would be the ability to change your music. By that I mean what Bose does, letting you add in more treble or bass as you see fit.

This easily replacing point 4 which I very much disagree with. Like you said, it’s what makes AirPods as a whole recognizable. It allows the buds themselves to be smaller as the stem is where the battery is.

Maybe Apple will make some redesign in the future but to me, the stem is what makes AirPods AirPods.
