Question Akai gx 625 right line input does not work

I tried to use the line input on the back to record but the right input does not show anything on the VU meter. Is this a transistor problem? And if it is, which transistor should I replace? I also tried mono left but that does not work either. The mic input (and the rest of the machine) works great. Can anyone help me?
