Alcatel A3 weird buzzing and beeps

My Alcatel A3 sometimes does three vibrations and the a couple of high pitched beeps for no apparent reason. It does this when not being used for anything. Any ideas what this means?

There is probably an app running in the background, even if you aren't actively using it. When it happens I would suggest checking the device for any apps that are currently running.
