Alcatel Idol 3 default storage

How do I change the default storage location to the SD card or can I? It is not the same as my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 The Tab 3 is like what is in the video under this subject but the Idol is WAY differnet

This is how:
Set default memory storage
By default, the device stores data on the either the SD card or the internal storage. To set the default memory storage to another location, follow these steps:
From any home screen, tap the All Appsall apps.png icon.
Tap Settings.
Scroll down to 'DEVICE,' then tap Storage.
Under 'Default write disk,' set the storage location:
SD Card
Phone Storage

I don't see "Default write disk" in the Storage settings... I'm also using an Idol 3.

Did you ever find out? I had over a gig internal storage left, went on a short vacation and took many photos and video but now I'm down to 300mb. Also I have yet to find a way to move files such as photos and video over to SD card without having to use a PC. It's really annoying.

[Having the same problem, no one seems to know how. You just keep getting the same answer?? Have you found the answer yet, would appreciate knowing how.

My apologies if I've double posted. I don't see my recent reply so I'll reply again. I finally figured out i had to choose the internal storage option upon first installing the SD card. Apparently I had chosen whatever the other option was. The only way I could change the setting again (that I could figure out) was to first move all my stuff from my card to my laptop and then format the card. I reinstalled the card to my phone and it gave me options for it and I chose internal storage. I think it formatted again on the phone. Also my phone updated to Marshmallow a few months back and I think my phone works much better than before. I just need a bigger SD card now, lol.

open your camera up. go to setting scroll down to storage it will be set on internal. tap that. Then select SD card.
