I've owned some Alexa Echo devices. One feature I like is the Guard Mode feature. For us, it is perfect, as we can use it when we're away shopping or something like that. Typically, someone is always home, so anything else isn't necessary in my opinion.

However, we're planning to go for a trip soon. So, I've been thinking of enabling Alexa Emergency Assist for a month, so it can monitor my home while we're gone. But when we come back, I want to disable it after a month. However, I want to know if enabling Alexa Emergency Assist is a one-way street? By that I mean will enabling it mean that if I disable it, I will have permanently disabled Guard Mode, the free version.
