trying to run games it is real lagy and wont start most of them its brand new i have no idea what it could be unless its trying to use the integrated graphics first how do i change it to use only the 1060 or any better solution?

Solution
you can always change your GPU setting to prefer use of dedicated GPU (gtx1060 in this case). you can find the setting in Nvidia Control Panel.

1. Open Nvidia Control Panel (you can download it from here if you dont have one) (to open it right click at desktop then choose Nvidia control panel or you can also open it via tray icon)
2. Choose Manage 3D Setting at left side
3. change your prefered graphics processor to High Performance Nvidia Processor
4. click apply at the right bottom

You can also change per app setting at global setting if you want to
