I've been lurking on these forums for weeks now, and everyone seems super knowledgeable and helpful.
Anyway, ive negotiated with Dell on a alienware 17. I've worked them down to a bottom line on one for $1,234. I have a few quotes that range from $1234 to $2000, and I've found a few things that don't make sense. I just want to make sure I'm still getting a laptop that will perform well while gaming for the next few years. Maybe even run oculus rift.

(Only difference is one 4k)
Compared to:http/m.imgur.com/a/t40vz
(Original specs with 2 year warrenty)
So the cheaper one is the one I'm looking at since it's not in 4k. my concern is the 4GX2 at 2133MHz where the original comes with 8GB at 1600MHz. Also, it normally comes with US power cord with 110V and this one doesn't state it. Is the cheap alienware still going to be a gaming beast?
Thanks in advance guys, I really appreciate it.
One last question, can I buy a separate ssd for this laptop?
