While playing a game on my laptop (Lenovo IdeaPad) the game crashed and the screen went black. I eventually had to hold the power button and turn it off. When I turned it back on the mouse was not working. I realized nothing worked in either of the USB 3.0 slots or the one USB 2.0 slot. I can use the touchpad, but hate that. I uninstalled the drivers for the USB ports/hubs and updated the BIOS and nothing has fixed the issue. If I try to install the USB driver it says it is the same version and can't update. Any ideas?

Hi,

The only thing you can do right now is to run System Restore, restore it back to an earlier date or time before the problem even happened.

Here's how to do perform System Restore:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ph/windows7/restore-system-files-and-settings

If these doesn't work do try these:
- Uninstall the USB drivers again from Device Manager.
- Download and install the latest driver there is from Lenovo Support site.
- Once installed, reboot your laptop then test it.
- If all these will not work I would suggest running a complete factory reset.
