Alt 10 isnt working on my acer laptop

Hello,
when i turned on my laptop all it did was say error loading operating system. So i restarted and tried the alt 10 key and it keeps freezing on the "please Wait A Moment" screen

Yeah i am. but it just keeps freezing on that screen

Which screen? You mean when you first get into the recovery partition or the boot up screen(s)?

The screen After you Press the Recovery Key (alt+10).. It is a Black screen and all it does is say "Please Wait A Moment".. screen before you get to any of the recovery options
