amazon prime not working on vizio televiion

We have a Vizio television and Amazon Prime Movies were streaming fine until about a week ago. Now the app appears, you select a show and when you hit play the screen goes black. What is this all about? Vizio says it is not their problem. The extended warranty company, Square Trade, says it is not their problem. Amazon Prime videos are working fine on our new television. It is a Samsung. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Mine goes black but plays about 30 seconds later , use to play a lot quicker.
