i have a quick question. i wanted to know what would be better. i have a amd 2 x3 processor, i unlock the fourth core running on a ga-970a-ud3 overclock to 3.6 stable. or i aslo have a amd phenom 2 x4 960t B.E. i overclock it to 3.83ghz. stable. i cant unlock the cores due to unknown volts or maybe it cant at all. well i would like to know what one would be the best for a supper fast gaming pc. with the setting that i added in the post here.

At stock clocks you should be just fine to unlock on auto voltage. If you are trying to unlock with your current OC that's not going to happen. Save your current profile and reset the BIOS to factory. Go back in set your ram and try unlocking.

Your system has separate multipliers so you don't really have to set anything with the memory to unlock your CPU. I meant set the RAM to it's correct settings because some boards will default 1600 Mhz DDR3 to 1333Mhz and possibly not load the mfg spec voltages.
