AMD 445

Hello,
i recently bought a AMD 445 and a M4A88-m and i wanted to see if i could unlock any cores. now this is where it gets confusing, instead of saying unleashing failed or something along those lines it says X2 cores with a arrow sign but when i look at CPU-z or AMD overdrive it says i've only got two cores! how can my core ' unlocker' disable cores?! any help would be appreciated!

The only way to overclock the AMD Athlon II X3 445 is to raise the FSB up and over the 200MHz

Unlocking can produce some abnormalities, can you get it back to a 3 core? If not have you tried resetting the bios.

indeed i can get back to the 3 cores its just a odd thing to happen with a 'unlocker ! and thank you natefostersr i will take a look at those articles.
