8 core FX and 16 gb for maximum performance on video-editing. Your GPU will not help much on video-editing performance, so I added an entry-level GPU. If you must stay under £400 you can swap the GPU for an even cheaper one.

I also need the graphics card to be 3D-Ray traceable (i think that's what its called), it needs to support OpenGL.

The compatibility note on pcpartspicker is not applicable on this particular motherboard, since the MSI 970 gaming supports vishera CPU's out of the box.
The GT 740 has open gl support and has cuda cores to help accelerate 3d ray tracing, though I admit I do not know much about 3d ray tracing. Usually any videocard will support open gl.
