Hi everyone, I'm new to dj world and I have a 2000 watt amp with two 300 watt passive speakers and I have a numark mix track pro 2 mixer.. Now I have noticed that when the volume is all the way up on mixer it still does not feel loud enough.. For 100 guests... Can some advise me what I'm doing wrong please or what I would need to get to play music louder... Thanks stuart

Solution
If the amp has volume or input controls make sure they are all the way up.
If the problem is not enough output from the mixer then you can try the balanced outputs which will be higher than the unbalanced RCA outputs. The amp will need to have balanced inputs. You could also try one of these

Make sure you can return it if it doesn't help.
If the problem is relates to the amp - speaker combination then you would need more efficient speakers (more output with less power). The power rating of the amp might be an exaggeration too.
