Yea, once the GDR5 ram gets cheaper NV will add it to their new gpu and when that happens ATi is gone baby, gone. I dont think they can afford to another round. Can you say monopoly? Of course, fortune favors the prepared and intel has seen the writing. Theyll have the single board market to themselves. That should be it for AMD. Buy buy!

Perhaps those companies have a bit too much Nvidia stock of their own and are trying to keep the price up before they dump the stock? Probably not, but you never know. Nvidia sticking GDDR5 onto the 200 series will help them jump back in the lead (assuming they do it before ATI comes out with new cards), but it will of course increase their cost even more, which is the main issue at the moment.
