android camera videorecording in low light

MY samsung android phone 3mp camera takes good pictures and videos in day light and decent pics in low light by using night mode but when it comes to videomaking it turns really bad and almost dark in low light. My cheap rage .3 megamixel outperforms it in videorecording in low lights. Is there any app to make sure that it takes video in same way it is able to shoot pics. like in camera mode pcis are good under even 40 watt tubelight but as soon you start recording it is black. so camera is only useful in broad daylight. Is there any software or app to correct it.

well i have found an app timer camera and it has solved my problem. it has burst mode to shoot pics at regular interval , can use mobile led flash as torch and shoots excellent in low light. thanks for all who replied.
