Looking for a basic Android emulator for Windows for productivity and home-based apps - not gaming.

Thank you for the lead; I'll give it a look and try. BTW, I just edited my original post to include "would like to run the emulator on a Surface Pro 7." If you have any insights into running this emulator on the Surface Pro 7, I would be appreciative of your input. Again, thanks!

As long as a Windows system, the emulator should be fine. I use a Surface Pro for work. It is a decent computing platform.

To install the Android Emulator, select the Android Emulator component in the SDK Tools tab of the SDK Manager. For instructions, see Update your tools using the SDK Manager.
