Android VPN issue

Hey there i have had my android phone for a while now and have been streaming over my wifi (its like an extra screen for movies) i have looked at many online guides to configure the VPN on the phone and the computer i set it up the way im supposed to but when i try to connect to the VPN it keeps saying that it cant connect the online guides weren't clear on the specifics of the ip addresses on said i need to set two up on the computer when i configure it so i did and i couldn't connect to either another one told me to use my modems current ip so i typed the address that was under the ADSL i even tried the gateway address i have gone through the router a few times enabling the TCP 1723 on the firewall of the modem both in and out and in the services and still my phone wont connect does any one know the exact information i need to connect my phone to the pc or any other services or ports i need to configure

Haha just my luck ask a question and work out the answer after posting it i needed my modems IP address and the domain names needs to be the PC you want to connect to tho why the guides said nothing about confounds me

why thank you, but im not sure it would work my current vpn is limited to the half hour cycle my ip goes through from the isp im trying to have a static ip set up but the ips is annoying to say the least lol
