I see the Voom receiver has a USB port on it. Does anybody have any ideas
what this port is for? It would be great to be able to change channels with
a PC, but the port looks more like a place to put an accessory.

THANKS!

The Voom receiver is very similar (if not identical) to the Star Choice
DSR500. As far as I know the USB and firewire ports are for recording
digital TV signals. But I've never seen any software for it. I think
there's a 100megabit ethernet connection, too, but I'd have to check my
manual to be sure. Anyway, Motorola is having enough trouble just getting
the software IN the receiver to work!
