My company is thinking of allowing our users to use splitpdf.com to split pdfs, as we don't have enough Adobe Pro licenses to go around. I've been tasked with seeing if I can gather any information about said service before we make a judgement.
The website does have privacy policy posted, where they claim that while they do collect some metadata for internal analysis, they delete content shortly after it's uploaded. While their main site is unencrypted, they do appear to offer an https alternative.
As far as who owns the site and how trustworthy it is, I haven't been able to find much.
Can anyone here vouch for this service, or alternatively have you heard anything negative about it?
