Hi, We have an ASP software company that we're starting. The service that we provide is:

*taking paper based forms and automating them. These documents can now: -route through the company intranet and internet -possess database connectivity -digital signature -secure audit trails -encrypted documents while in transit
*customizing a CMS and hosting company on our server if necessary -document routes to predestined personnel and comes back to document library on CMS -secure retention and disposal methods

How much is the average length and price for contracts including maintenance, training, and updates for this type of service? thanks

I work IT at a bank, and when we switch vendors, we normally look for a short term contract to start out (1 or 2 years).

Pricing can vary greatly. Try to find a company similar to yours, and check their prices.
