AT&T decided to have my account become past due that day and not give notice until 10am, when I was at the apple store trying to purchase at 8am. That was all AT&T needed to say that my account didn't qualify for the discount on my phone, regardless that my phone was 2 years old and was out of contract. Pretty sneaky on AT&T part. Then I called them and they said I did qualify but because my account was past due, it wasn't. WHICH IS IT? That was extreme BS on AT&T's part. Hell, the apple store even gave me issues when I asked them to let me use a phone just to deal with this matter. I was surrounded by phones and they had to check to see if it was okay for me to use a phone? Do you want to sell me a phone? Very horrible experience trying to buy the new phone. After having to make not just one payment but two payments, because the first payment wasn't seen in AT&T's system, I finally qualified for the discounted Iphone price. Such hell! I finally did get my Iphone, but at the cost of my bank account going in the negative with NSF fees. Thanks AT&T and also Apple for not supporting your customer from your provider. Apple should seriously rethink their partnership with AT&T. I've been with AT&T for 12 years. You would hope I wouldn't be treated this way.
