Apps not detected using samsung smart switch

I am trying to use samsung smart switch to transfer everything to from my Sony Xperia XZ to my new Samsung Galaxy Note 8. But it simply can't detect any apps to transfer using the smart switch. Please advise what can I do.

If I remember correctly, not all apps are movable with that. You would have to check with Samsung though. Also, the files and/or apps you are trying to move could also not work on the other device. Another thing to check. Not all apps are compatible with all devices.

Lastly, if the apps are on the SD card on the older phone, you won't be able to use this option at all for those.
