Are a Colby DVD player and a Vizio TV compatible?

I have a Colby DVD player that requires me to set the channel to 00 before using, my new TV will not let me choose 00. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Your old TV may have required you to select channel 00 to access the av input on the TV. Your new TV will allow you to do this by either selecting it directly on the remote or cycling through the inputs. Make note of which input the DVD is connected to.
