Are Sleep Number beds worth it? I’m a mattress tester and here’s my take

I have a sleep number bed now and find it very poor. It is expensive and their return policy is very misleading.
Bluetooth/wifi is slow to connect and control the bed, and sleep info is inaccurate.
For returns you get 100 days but you can’t return for free. Costs $250 to return and you are stuck with the base since they wont let you return the adjustable bases at all. Im guessing that is where their profit margin is.

We have enjoyed our matress for the last three years.. Untill we came home from vacation to find both sides flat. Long story short there warranty sucks we had to buy new inflatbles and a new pump nearly $500 after just 3 years. So for that reason I would never recommend sleep number again.

Just ran into this problem myself. I am at the 5 year mark, so clearly quality isn't great. Both air chambers leak separately and the pump and tubes have some sort of growth in it. Found out their "25 year warranty" is just a 2 year warranty with discounts after that. Total cost for me would be $550. Kinda wild that a $3500 bed only has a 2 year warranty
