Arma 3 problems on laptop

My laptop can hardly play arma 3 on lowest settings but the specs are more than enough. Any idea why?

Specs: i7, NVIDIA 950m, 16gb ram, plenty free storage space

Possibly using the integrated GPU instead of the 950m. Do you have the Nvidia driver installed?
