Solved! Aspire 4736zg black screen of death

Hello,

My laptop has recently started to display the dreaded black screen of death. Sometimes it is during bootup, sometimes, during in the middle of a session. How do i fix it? thanks

Could be heating issue. Make sure you clean the heatsink and fan first, then retry.
Also, you might need to do a repair-install of the OS again, because corrupted files can be caused by random resets/restarts.
You could also check temps using Hardware Monitor and check memory with Memtest.
