Aspire 5253 stuck for 5-10 minutes

When I first turn on the laptop I am stuck at this for 5-10 minutes: (Also the fan goes max during this)

After that, it goes right to the Acer logo and continues to boot. (The fan goes a LOT lower during this)

Is there a way to stop it from taking that 5-10 freeze?

Run a hard drive test in DOS... HIRENS BOOT CD etc, it sounds like a failing hard drive...

I do not think it is a failing hard drive in my opinion, I can use Windows fine, I just transferred some files from here and there today, there's no slow down in the data flow... But ill take a look into the things you said.

Well I ran tests with Seatools disk checker, and they all said they passed.
I tried chkdsk in Cmd prompt but it said it cant use this cmd in a read only environment
