Solved! Aspire 5517 series webcam

Hello,
I cant get my webcam to work - is looks as if it is completly missing - do I need to intsall a driver or a restore

you can try both, first though, look at your laptop and check that there's no switch for the webcam and make sure that if there is a switch to try turning the webcam back on. Some laptops, if the switch was used to turn the webcam off it cuts all power to it so the computer doesn't see it anymore
