Should I get the Astro A40 or the Sennheiser Game One? My budget for a new headset is around $200. I cannot go above. If the two choices above are not good, then what do you recommend? (I need a mic)
Monster is kind of like Beats: overpriced crap. I would get really nice headphones (like the 2 I mentioned) and open back headphones are better for gaming btw.
The Sennheiser is a little bit better (not such a crappy microphone) but would you be open to a nice pair of headphones with a modmic? A modmic is a microphone that attaches to the outside of your headphones. You could get some nice open back headphones (better than closed back for gaming) for $150 with the modmic. Or you could get a Blue Snowball for $50 which is a desktop microphone.

Hello, I really appreciate your answer. Most people say that gaming headsets suck, and to just get a normal headset and attach a modmic to it. The headset I tried was the Monster DNA and it sounded awful compared to my gaming headset at that time (Logitech g930). What headset do you recommend?

I am very interested in the Audio Technica AUD ATHAD500X Audiophile Open-Air Headphones. Have you ever tested these headsets? How do they actually sound? The reviews look really good.
I haven't used the AD500X but I have used the AD500. I absolutely loved them but I don't know how they compare. The AD500X have really good reviews so I think that they're probably better. Get the AD500X.
