Solved! ASUS 305C Battery life

On full charge stated battery life ranges from 4 to 8 hours. ASUS recommended running battery out then fully recharging which helped at the time but it soon reverted to the 4-8 hour situation. Any advice/solutions please?

Seems like normal run time under use, depending on the use, screen brightness, temperature (the warmer it is the lower the battery life), etc...
