Replaced MOBO. Now have 2 problems. First, nothing comes up on monitor. When I replaced MOBO there was a single black wire, or cable, that I couldn't find where to plug onto new MOBO. Second, once I powered up, all the lights work and fan is running but the power button will not turn laptop off. Have to unplug charger and remove battery. When I put battery back in and plug charger back in I can power up using power button. Please help.

Well you need to find where that cable goes. I imagine it is pretty important. Maybe it is the led cable. What kind of connection does it have?

I completely disassembled it and found where the cable goes. It's actually what appears to be a small antenna wire for the wireless unit. I am reassembling now but still don't know if that antenna wire is what is keeping power button from turning laptop off and also if that affects the monitor and is keeping it from working. It will fix your wifi but not anything else. Sorry...
