hi, I left my asus eeebook on while I had lunch, and on my return audio files no longer player out, neither out loud or through headphones, plus youtube vidoes would not play.

Try doing a "System Restore" back to a time when it was working.

Reinstall the audio driver from Asus' site for your model and check the settings in Windows Playback devices (they should be set to output to your speakers if no headphones are connected, or default to your headphones if headphones are connected).
