Hello!

I've got a question as a i'm a complete noob in this. My laptop's motherboard broke down (i mean literally as at point when being connected to the charger smoke came out of the vent, and it shut down).

Now i plan to buy a new motherboard, but i would like to know when buying a new motherboard will it come completely blank? My laptop has GeForce 560M GTX. I mean i don't think it's "soldered" into the board, right? I don't understand it when i look the boards at ebay. The boards there are even without CPU i see, so i have to switc hit over from my old board too, right?

Can anyone light me a bit more in this? Thanks!

The board is 60-N7CMB2000-B03

So anyone?

Basically my question is: is the GPU separate from the board? And when you order the new board it comes without the CPU, as in you can swap the CPU over from the old board?
