I'm going to buy this laptop and I was wondering if this had blu ray burner and reader support? On the Asus site it just says ''Blu-Ray DVD Combo'' what is a blu ray dvd combo drive? I believe you can play DVDs and burn them with this drive but you can only read blu rays?

where they say ''BlueRay DVD Burner'' does anyone know if this is correct? Amazon and Asus just say ''Blu ray DVD Combo'' does anyone have this laptop? does anyone know the specific details of the optical drives on this laptop?

Yup, that's what it means. Honestly, take Asus' word for what the drive is. I wouldn't trust what Amazon is saying.

ok so with a blu ray dvd combo drive I can watch dvds and burn them and I can watch blu ray but I cant burn blu ray?
