I have the above notebook which runs flawlessly until I power it down. It has a clean install of Windows 7 Pro and Asus factory drivers. The chip set is i7-4710HQ with an 970m Gpu.
When I power it off apparently the Gpu won't respond to WMI and so the system cannot cleanly shutdown but rather reloads the video driver.
The stop code is 0x00000116 (0xFFFFFA80128E8330, 0xFFFFF8800FE0651C, 0xFFFFFFFFC000009A, 0x000000000000004 ) / nvlddmkm.sys - Address FFFFF8800FE0651C base at FFFFF8800F4EE000.
An analysis and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
