Asus gl552 0% not charging, power indicator (bulb icon led) always on. help

my battery discharged while doing windows update, i connected the charger and finished the update.

since then it is not being charged, showing 0% charging but it is 0% since past 5 hours.


- i did every trick, removed ACPI battery driver installed/uninstalled
- reset my pc completely
- removed battery held power button for 1 min, again placed battery.


but nothing worled

laptop works only when it is connected to adapter as soon as i remove adapter it gets off instatnly.
i tried every trick of youtube.

what is the problem.

why that led ( with bulb icon) is continuously glowing.


please help... its very URGENT. i saved each penny to purchase this notebook...

Sounds like the cells in the battery have gone down. This can happen with new (although not as often) and old batteries at any time. Have you tried a replacement battery? A GOOD aftermarket battery is not expensive. Or have you tried speaking with Asus in regards to the warranty? (if not expired)

yes i have registered for a onsite visit, the tech guy told me that he will visit with the new batteries.

but what does that bulb icon indicator means ?? its continuously glowing when laptop is on ,,whether battery is inside or battery removed
