Asus K53SV Laptop won't boot

My Asus K53sv won't boot when I press the power button, the hdd activity led switch on for a second then the led just turns off afterwards. It happens after I insert my laptop battery when it's plugged in to the wall, and unplug it from the wall and the laptop screen just went blank afterwards and doesn't boot into windows and BIOS. Please suggest a solution.

Is this issue happening all the time or only after you plug in the battery when it's on wall power? Does it run fine in other cases? Your post is not too clear on this.

I've tried turning on the laptop with and without the battery, it doesn't work in either ways.

Unplug battery and wall power, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds, try it again. That's about a 5 yr old laptop, could be a motherboard issue, which is what often causes systems to power down like that.

If my memory serves me right, I've already tried the method but it doesn't work.

But I will try it again to make sure.

Update : it doesn't work too.
