Solved! Asus laptop battery is not charging had computer for one year does battery last for just a year

My Asus laptop battery is not charging do the battery last more than one year I have returned it to get battery checked out computer is one year and half old

If it's spent most of its life plugged into the mains, the battery wll become lazy and die. Was it the original battery that came with the laptop?

That's close to scandalous. When you buy a replacement, go for the more expensive option.

e-Bay is as good a source as any but the cheap ones could be clones out of China and have been known to self-combust.

I have taken the laptop back to Best Buy store where I brought it they are sending it off to the company to replace the battery and checking the device out for other issues thanks
