Asus laptop black screen with flashing arrow

Hi. my asus laptop ("8 months old"), out of nowhere, gets a black screen and the arrow (cursor- mouse-arrow) blinks asychronously. The same when I restarted it from the on-off button. Someone pls help me.

Sry to bother u, as it seems, it got superheated, now that's cooled off it's ok..

That's still a problem, as it should never get hot enough to shut down unless you have the cpu and or gpu overclocked and the fan can't keep up. If not, there's a problem with something creating excessive heat or the laptop cooling fan is not doing it's job. Can you hear the laptop fan running at all when it's been running for a little while or are you not hearing the fan at all?
