I broke the screen on one of my asus rog series laptops but I managed to disconnect the cable inside. The laptop boots into windows fine with the external display but it refuses to enter bios with the same procedure I have been using for months. I don't know if disconnecting the screen had anything to do with it. Perhaps I pressed the wrong key when I tried to enter the bios with the partially broken screen and exit without making any changes. My main concern is that I won't be able to change the boot order since I don't often mess with the bios settings. Is there a way to fix this issue without reopening the device? Update : trying to boot from the windows troubleshoot menu to uefi just boots to windows so it's probably not a hardware related issue.
