It was working a few hours ago, it was low on power. I closed the top without shutting the laptop down like I do every time. When I went downstairs I open it up usually the screen pops right up. Not this time but I didn't think much of it so I plugged in the charger and a red charging lighy usually cuts on it didn't. I tried several different outlets all the same result. So I used a different charger same thing no charging light, on the adapter box there was a green light indicating power was flowing in that cord. It's not cutting on whatsoever what could be the problem? Its a Asus x551mav-HCL1201E. Also last night I plugged it in to charge nothing happened re plugged it in it worked

Sounds offhand as though you have a faulty power jack. The power jack on your model is soldered to the motherboard but it can be repaired (replaced). In fact, the repair is common enough that there are companies that specialize in it. Or, if you are adept with a soldering iron, it can be a DIY thing. You can try moving the jack a little to see if it is loose (you may be able to get a connection that way).
I might also suggest ensuring the power adapter is producing the 19v it says it should.
