My Asus gaming laptop will not turn on. I was playing a game and when I left for about a 30-60 mins, the laptop had shut down. It was also very very hot to the touch. I tried turning it on, but it did not so I waited until after it had cooled down. It still did not turn on so I plugged it in and the same problem, it still did not turn on. Also, when I plugged it in, the laptop started to overheat (which had never happened to me before.) The laptop battery icon turns on when I plug it in, but nothing else shows up.

So to summarize my problems:
1. Laptop won't turn on
2. Laptop overheats when plugged in
3. Charging icon turns on when plugged in, but nothing else

If it's under warranty take it to the manufacturer. It's possible you have a bad fan in the thing. I recommend trying to charge the laptop with the bottom open (if you can). If you can't afford tech repairs, you should probably do this when you charge the laptop:

- Put the laptop on it's side
- Open the bottom
- Put a fan blowing into the laptop (make sure it's not spinning any fans)
- Plug the laptop in

Hopefully that will work (it worked for me) and you should also take the laptop to tech if you can afford it.
