Asus laptop wont turn on

The charger is plugged in but the charging light doesn't turn on. Nothing is on.im not sure if its the charger or the laptop

Try removing the battery and plugging in the charger, then turning the laptop on. If this works, then your battery may have an issue. If it doesn't work, but your battery works to turn the laptop on, then your charger may be the issue.
